Our hospital is called ‘chest diseases and chest surgery training and research hospital’. It provides quality health care to many patients with chest problems in Aegean region.There are 18 chest disease polyclinics, 7 chest oncology polyclinics, 1 interstitial lung disease polyclinic, 1 pulmonary rehabilitation polyclinic, 1 occupational disease polyclinic, 1 smoking cessation polyclinic, 1 sleeping disorders polyclinic and 1 interventional lung polyclinic. There are 6 chest disease clinics with 211 beds in total. 67 chest diseases specialist work in the hospital. 32 of them are specialist, 14 of them are chief assistant, 21 of them are academic director, 4 of them are professor and 13 of them are associate professor.
